Wednesday is for “What’s on your bobbin?”

Today is Wednesday so it’s time for “What’s on your bobbin?” I just made that up. Really.

When Bavgirl and I went to SAFF, we wandered over to Ozark Carding Mill’s booth and I had to pick up 12 ounces of this:

Spinning this:

Bobbin filling up:

Spinning this long draw, fingering weight singles. Going to keep it as singles, thinking the colors will muddy too much if plied. When it’s all spun up, I’ll give it a bath and abuse it to full it. I’m envisioning a nice, wide wrap or maybe even enough for a cropped cardigan? Who knows? We’ll see, we’ll see.

What’s on your bobbin? Or, if you don’t spin – what’s on your needles?

ETA: Pic of Noro scarf goodness. For SIL.

  1. I’m spinning some of Gale’s lovely BFL roving, with the dark base, in the “rose garden” colorway. It’s VERY NICE. Too bad I’m giving it away!

I’ll take pictures soon. In fact, I’ll take pictures and BLOG soon. Life is kicking my ass right now. I’m pretty sure everyone thinks I’m dead…
